ECCO Fund at The Coastal Community Foundation

CALL FOR ENTIRES

The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce ECCO Fund at The Coastal Community Foundation is please to offer grants for Community Enhancement. Grant applications are available at the Chamber office, and can also be sent by request via e-mail or fax. We will evaluate applications throughout the year, and will notify the applicant directly if the application is selected for funding.

Grant Making Priorities

• Grants are awarded for new projects and established programs which benefit residents in the City of Encinitas.
• Grants are made for one year at a time.
• Application requests between $100 and $1500 will be considered. This amount may be applied to a larger program.
• There is no set percentage of funding that can go to a particular type of project.

Application requests that creatively combine multiple aspects of community interest and that have a public outreach component may receive priority consideration. We do not want to support projects that merely duplicate existing services. We encourage applications which promote a healthy and prosperous business community. In addition, we’re looking for ideas that address:

• emerging needs which are not adequately addressed in the community;
• innovative programs which address problems in a new way;
• new opportunities which assist the community.

We do not plan to make grants for routine operating support, fund raising events, endowment campaigns, existing obligations, travel, religious or political advocacy, or programs/activities outside of Encinitas.
