Communications Committee

Mission:

The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Communications Committee will create, disseminate and continuously foster programs and services communicating the needs, expectations and achievements of the businesses and the community of Encinitas by leveraging print, broadcast, social media and asset relationship building.

Strategies:

• Identify needs, expectations and achievements.
• Establish sub-committees for the development of marketing and message.
• Foster cross-marketing with asset relationship building and events.
• Develop an Arts Foundation.
• Leveraging of the Mira Costa/Small Business Development Center.
• 2010 Arts in Business – Business/Artist Partnership (BAP) to give artists free counseling and training in the area of business needs.
• Position the city of Encinitas to become the Arena of Art for San Diego/North County.
• Utilize the Chamber’s access to businesses interested in partnering with an artist to display art on walls for exhibit purposes.
• Target galleries, artists and businesses for BAP.
