About the Chamber

This is an easy way to meet other Chamber members, expand your own business network and take an active role in the business community. Ambassadors Committee conducts an ongoing public relations program to enhance the image of the Chamber with its membership and the community. Ambassadors represent the Chamber at business grand openings and special events, as well as organize many of the Chamber’s events.

Communications Committee is responsible for the publication of the Chamber’s monthly newsletter, annual member directory, map, media PR, advertising and website.

Fundraising Committee oversees, manages and implements all activities relating to the fundraisers to ensure maximum revenue and public exposure. Sub-committees are created for Oktoberfest, Golf Tournament and Annual Members Dinner & Installation of the Board.

Government Affairs Committee is dedicated to communicating the views of the business community as it relates to local, regional, state and federal governmental issues. The committee strives to keep Chamber members informed on timely topics and issues that affect everyone.

Membership Committee develops, manages and implements all memberships recruitment and retention programs, as well as mentors new members.

Visitor Center Committee monitors and recommends ideas to ensure the Visitor Center meets the needs of the community and region. Promotes our businesses locally, regionally and worldwide to increase visitors spending in Encinitas.
